Award-winning Celtic fiddler Mari Black delights audiences with the irresistible energy and richness of Celtic music in a show full of soaring jigs, fiery reels, and beloved airs and songs. As a two-time U.S. National Scottish Fiddle Champion, Glenfiddich Fiddle Champion of Scotland, and two-time Maritime Fiddle Champion of Canada, Mari shares her deep love of Celtic fiddling and her passion for engaging listeners in these beloved musical traditions. Together with her Celtic Band, Mari delivers a show full of dance-driven energy and sparkling stage presence, honoring tradition and exploring new possibility in the music of the Celtic regions.
This concert is being held at the famous Nelson Town Hall in the heart of the Monadnock Region. (It is preceded by an open-to-all Scottish music jam session hosted by the NH Scottish Music Club - more info).
Admission is $20 in advance, $25 at the door. Discounts for SMC Members ($18) and teens ($15). 10 years old and younger are admitted free.
